Leaf Raking and Blowing at Woodlawn, Glendale, and Oak Grove Cemeteries
We are looking for groups of five to ten youth or adults who would like to carefully rake and blow leaves from amid the headstones and monuments at one of our local cemeteries. We are also seeking an individual who would like to write down the names on headstones in certain blocks in the cemetery to assist us in making a map for visitors.

Podcast Creation
We’d like to investigate creating “podcasts” for Gray’s Lake and other city parks. Imagine walking around one of our parks listening to a podcast that points out the native birds and their calls, flowering perennials, history of the area and upcoming events, etc. We are seeking volunteers who have experience creating this type of technology to talk with us about the possibility of creating our own multi-lingual podcasts for park users.

Meet fellow gardeners and learn a bit about the native wildflowers and grasses while tending flower beds at the Gray’s Lake Terrace and along the Meredith Trail. Help slow down and filter storm water and decrease maintenance. No gardening experience required, and tools and training will be provided.
