MCC 35: "Brawl at the Hall"

The Midwest's most popular promotion has scheduled its next event for Friday, August 5 at Hy Vee Hall for MCC 35: "Brawl at the Hall".

The main event will feature light heavyweight title holder, Jesse Lund, as he faces Eric Poling in a championship bout scheduled for five rounds. This marks the first title defense for Lund since winning his belt at MCC 33 when he defeated UFC veteran, Tyrone Roberts in the first round.

Also on tap is another title bout between featherweight champion, Rick "The Gladiator" Glenn and UFC Ryan "Are you Ready" Roberts.

This will be Glenn's second title defense after a pair of wins over former champ, Josh "Bam Bam" Henry.

Roberts, the former UFC competitor is riding a multi-fight win streak and will look for a win over Glenn to put him back on the radar of the big show.

Two former middleweight champions collide in a non-title rematch. Brian Green has agreed to face Mike "Mini Van" Van Meer. Green defeated Van Meer to capture the title before losing to UFC bound Joe "The Doctor" Vedepo.

Green and Van Meer recently competed losing bouts to Calley Kruger and Ben Crowder respectively. Both former champs look to get back in the win column as they look to move back up the middleweight ladder.

Speaking of former title holders, Will Shutt has agreed to face Laramie Shaffer in a bantamweight bout, and Josh "Bam Bam" Henry will go toe to toe with Tom Ahrens in a battle of featherweight contenders.
