CAP Theatre - Class Act Productions is a children's community theatre that strives to give people, regardless of experience, the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience and learn theatre etiquette.

Billy Joe's Pitcher Show Matinee - Summer and winter matinees show typically at 12:30 and 2:30 p.m.

Des Moines Playhouse - On Friday Fundays (one Friday per month during the school year), kids ages 4 to 6 spend time with familiar friends from The Clubhouse at The Playhouse. Performances are based on children's stories from around the world. Children can participate in songs, pantomime, rhymes and role-playing. Second Saturdays provide alternative Saturday-night entertainment for young people in grades 6 - 12. Teens work in groups on skits, theatre games and theatre sports.

Brenton Skating Plaza **SEASONAL - Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Brenton Plaza Grill is open for food and a summer concert series performance.

Live at the Creek **SEASONAL - Sundays from 5 to 8 p.m., a free concert in the amphitheater and a wine and beer garden at the lake takes place from July through September.
