What is your favorite thing about raising kids in Des Moines?
How accessible everything is. Lots to do but without a lot of hassle to get from from Point A to Point B.
What's the best kept secret in Des Moines?
Hitting Merle Hay Mall shortly after it opens on weekends. You have the place to yourself and can make your Target run, clothes shop a bit and grab a pretzel on the way out...all within an hour or two.

Don't get too worked up, everyone. That's the ONE family pic we have (and it was taken in December!).

Nice to (virtually) see you, Jody! It has been a long time. You have one + twins, right? We're expecting our second boy in about a month. A lot can change in a few short years, huh?
