What is your favorite thing about raising kids in Des Moines?: Excellent schools, a great variety of things to do, but still has a smaller town feel.

What's the best kept secret in Des Moines?: I don't know if its a secret, but we love Raccoon River Park.l It has a 3.1 mile loop around the lake for running, awesome playground for the kids, one of the few dog parks in the area, huge shelter houses for get togethers, a beach...
