After I was required to relocate because of my job, by biggest anxiety about leaving our old house was our
swimming pool. It was my favorite spot in our house and I did spend a lot of time and effort in maintaining it.
With a stroke of luck however, the new house we were being relocated too also had a pool, and it was even better than my old swimming pool. Things just could not get any better than that, and apparently, it really can’t.
As beautiful as the swimming pool was, it was badly maintained. The water was green with algae, the tiles were covered in molds, and the
pool filters were clogged with all sorts of debris. Considering how large the swimming pool was, it would take a lot of time to clean.
Things in our lives really just cannot get too perfect. There will always be drawbacks. But considering all the other blessings I have received so far, this little setback is a very small problem that can be easily fixed. It is still better than not having a pool at all. I guess this is something I can still be thankful for.
