So, the new place in Beaverdale called
Good Sons bills itself as a martini and panini bar... and that's exactly what it is.
My husband and I went there Friday night and then again today for lunch.
The Friday night vibe was great... very neighborhood-barish. Good crowd. Servers a little slow, but friendly. Nice atmosphere.

The Sunday afternoon feel was a bit different. Expecting more of a restaurant, we were surprised to find that the bar only serves panini's, that's it, and my husband and I were the only ones not drinking. (I ended up giving in to the feeling of being left out and ordered a Bud Light before our sandwiches came).
There are no high-chairs in the place (and none expected... I asked the owner) and no changing tables. A dad and his sons left after they saw the menu and even the grilled cheese was too "grown up" for the boys' tastes.
If your kids come with their own carriers or are old enough to sit in a chair without squirmming out of it and into the neighboring diner's personal space, Good Sons is probably okay. But if you've got toddlers in Beaverdale, head to the
B&B down the road instead.
