UPDATE: What little girls really want for Christmas

Every mom I know is in the throws of holiday shopping. And most are just guessing at which toys are really going to be a hit come unwrapping time.

If you’re among the millions of moms playing the toy guessing game, this may be an opportunity for you to get a sneak-peek into the mind of your child.

A toy study, conducted by a market research firm in Des Moines, will begin scheduling participants on Friday, January 6. Local girls, ages 4 through 8, are being asked to take part in a 40-minute in-person survey designed to evaluate toy advertisements.

Here’s the part your girls are gonna love – each survey taker gets a toy valued between $20 and $25!

Parents of 4- and 5-year-old survey participants are asked to sit with their child and help them do the survey, so they also get a gift – $15. Parents of older girls are not allowed to sit with the child but are welcome to watch them take the survey from an observation room.

If this sounds like something you’d like to be considered for, please call 515-225-7130 for details and scheduling. Be sure to tell them you heard about the opportunity on DesMoinesFamilies.com!

Well looks like I've been having a bit too much fun lately (typing out "all" instead of "I'll"... have another peppermint Schnapps, Kelly. ;) )

As I understand it, there will be an opportunity for the boys to participate soon. All post those details just as soon as I learn of them...
